The Atlanta Thrashers would pass their (population) test way ahead of Winnipeg, but Winnipeg’s a way better market ... You look at corporate and economic factors as the imperative.
They moved the Atlanta Thrashers to Winnipeg.... AND THEY STILL SUCK!!
It’s been a lot of fun and hopefully, it keeps going ... I’m doing everything I can to stay in the league and I always feel like I’m in that situation. This is nothing new. It’s been like this my whole career. Last year (with the Atlanta Thrashers), I was up-and-down eight times.
I am excited beyond words to announce our purchase of the Atlanta Thrashers. We received the call we've long been waiting for.
The emotion isn’t the same. I grew up with the Jets of (Teemu) Selanne and Shane Doan, not Evander Kane and Andrew Ladd ... I played against them last year as the Atlanta Thrashers. It’s not like I’m playing the old Jets. The team kind of still feels like the Thrashers.
It feels good to finally put some in the net
We've kind of had stretches of scoring a lot of goals, we've had stretches of not scoring a lot of goals.
I think I've been going obviously in a good direction, I don't think I've plateaued ... I think I'm capable of more and I think this sort of hockey, pushing for a playoff spot, has brought out the best in me.
With Blake, he has confidence right now, he's going good ... I just think he wants to win, he wants to play and he wants to help his team.
That's what makes being a member of a team a beautiful thing
