I thought I was ready to go, regardless of what injury I had ... I kept fighting. I didn't want to lose. I definitely dropped the ball in the third period. I got too comfortable. I should have attacked her like I was losing. I should have come after her and not let it go (to the ball draw).
I've been fortunate to have a lot of success in wrestling, but it didn't come with a lot of failure. There was a lot of failure and a lot of times when I was left shaking my head and wondering, 'What the heck am I doing?' But if you keep working and you persevere, good things will happen.
This was something that I was very excited to attend ... To have an Olympic coach here helping us out inspires me to just keep practicing.
I think I'm probably going to pick and choose what I think I would be best at and work on it leading up to the season ... I think it should give me some confidence when I shoot.
