Most of the time the club, the board and the owners will give in after a couple of weeks and we, the managers, are gone ... But they have stuck with him and you get a different situation. I think this could be the first time probably in the history of the Premier League that a board stuck with their man...
I think they have something up their sleeve
Chris Baird stayed at home and Simon Davies will join us next week ... Clint Dempsey has a slight thigh problem so he stayed in London. We've got 21 players with us for Thursday night's match.
Steve Bruce was telling me how much he missed Darren Bent at Sunderland ... Bobby is a different type. Darren Bent will be anonymous but score 20 goals. Not like Bobby or Andy Johnson. I hope he can be a bit more productive. You have to score more goals.

A draw for us is a satisfying result. In the first half, we had 50/50 possession, with seven attempts on goal. But we could not play our football in the last 15 minutes. We tried to pass it and get it to the front players, but to get three points, you have to do a bit more.
Arsenal had played a difficult game in the Champions League this week, but you still have to work hard against them, because they have a winning mentality and showed that in the second half when they were 1-0 down, they did everything to score. But with their form over the past six weeks, a draw is plea...
A draw for us is still satisfying
He is another Henry. He is very productive
I feel frustrated ... We didn’t pick Vermaelen up in midfield. But a draw is still a satisfying result.
I think we have done that in our last three or four away games. We have kept a clean sheet three times so we have some confidence of doing that (again).
The priority is to defend well but still play with confidence and belief
Simon will be back in the next two weeks
He is still recovering from his hernia operation
He obviously hadn't seen the size of my fists
He does that all the time
We are very confident we can climb away from the wrong end of the table
We have done everything in England to exclude that (racism) from the game, and not just the game, from our society also
Even if you are not involved in the national team you should be motivated and I think he is ... It certainly gives you an extra dimension playing for the national team and hopefully he'll be involved. I think it can certainly help.
