When you have an All Pac-10 guy who's not in the game, it's going to hurt ... As a linebacker group, we just had to step up. It was one less guy we had out there. I think we responded well from that point.
We wanted to do that all year, win the PAC-10 and go undefeated.
We really wanted to show what we could do as a team, and against a team that everyone felt was the favorite to win the league ... I think after that game we showed we could play with anyone (in the PAC-10).
