Winning a Heisman Trophy would be special, it was special, and it does mean a lot, but not compared to winning an SEC title ... So they are kind of different things in my eyes. And the SEC is really my focus.
Tim Tebow crying on national television is not a show of weakness by a over-hyped player. It was a show of emotion for falling short of a goal you had worked so hard for. Full Article at Bleacher Report

I remember saying in the first quarter, (Florida quarterback) Tim Tebow probably doesn't have a Heisman Trophy right now if Dennis Dixon doesn't get hurt ... Oregon maybe has a national championship, and I would venture to say we don't have Dennis Dixon on this team if he doesn't suffer that injury.

Feeling the support and then coming out here, beating [Florida State University]... It's really special.
They're just very well coached ... Offense, defense and special teams. And we all talk about the wildcat (formation). They run the wildcat every play. But not only can that quarterback they have (Tim Tebow) run, he can throw it, too.
It’s a big one. We’re excited about it ... Alabama is a great team, and we are going to enjoy tonight, but come tomorrow, we are going to get ready for a big game.
I really don't like the term ‘spread,' ... That's a total misnomer to what we do. . . What we do is what we've been doing since I've been here. It's a formation shotgun for us. We don't have a quarterback running the spread offense in college like Tim Tebow. To me, that's what spread is.
For Florida State and Florida, it's not solely if you beat them it makes your season a success ... But it helps put a smile on your face.
Jantz is Fran Tarkenton reincarnated ... I'm watching Florida on TV, and Jantz reminds me of another Tim Tebow. Jantz has, hands down, the best feet of any high school quarterback I've seen. We had him on third and 18; he scrambled and made a 21-yard pass. NU has a lot of good players, but to me, the mo...
This last opportunity, it's very special ... It's how you want to have your last game at Florida.
I don't think Tim Tebow can play in the NFL if it's a pro style offense
When it comes up on TV, I usually just turn the channel and don't worry about it too much because winning a Heisman Trophy is very special and it's a huge award, very prestigious, very humbling, but it compares zero to winning a national championship or winning an SEC championship ... That's what you tr...
UCLA under Coach Rick (Neuheisel)….is horrible. Wayne Moses the running back coach is horrible. The sets are Pop Warner in movement, motion, and slots. I mean a Pop Warner type offense that Tim Tebow would laugh at. UCLA is playing with great athletes but giving great athletes boys and girls club sets. ...
You don't train for a Heisman Trophy. That's just something that comes with being blessed
They're both legends ... There's no question that Tim Tebow made his mark on Florida football, SEC football and the entire nation. He's going to be one of those guys remembered for as long as people care about college football. Herschel is the same way.
Winning a Heisman Trophy is very special, and it's a huge award, very prestigious, very humbling
As a coach, I always like winners ... Tim Tebow doesn’t have the classic throwing motion, he doesn’t have the accuracy, maybe, right now that some people are looking for, but I think when he gets into a pro system that really stresses throwing the ball accurately, the big thing is he makes the people ar...
I think that's the great thing about our team; it's something we've done all year, from LSU to Arkansas
You consider what Tim Tebow means to that football team, and not only what he brings on the field -- forget about the Heisman Trophy -- you're talking about the essence and really he's the pulse and he's the identity, really, of that football team ... The leadership is something that you really can't pu...
Obviously, we won't be worried about them for a few weeks ... We have a big game against South Carolina. But I'm looking forward to [Alabama]. It will be a great game. They are a great team. They are coached very well. It will be very exciting.
Certainly, we're saddened that Tim Tebow was injured ... It's the worst thing about college football; you don't want injury. You don't want it for your opponent. You don't want it for yourself. I'm certain that they'll do the right things for him, and they'll have a great quarterback playing for Florida...

It's the worst thing about college football. You don't want injury. You don't want it for your opponent. You don't want it for yourself ... I want them to do whatever they need to do for them. Tim Tebow is great for football. He's great for Florida. If he's healthy and capable, we'd love to compete agai...
It'll be exciting ... We won't be worried about them for a few weeks -- we got a big game against South Carolina -- but I'm looking forward to it. It'll be a great game. They're a great team and they're coached very well. It'll be very exciting.
I don’t know that that really works ... What works is when you recruit really good players and you coach really well, which they have, and when you have Tim Tebow and throw the ball to Percy Harvin and you hand it to Demps and Rainey. That makes motivation work really well, when you recruit great player...
We'd like to look better, sure, but we're going to be happy with 9-0 ... When we need something, we're proud we can usually go down and get it. Some games we look more at (Riley Cooper), other games it's (Aaron Hernandez). It depends on what the defense gives us. Our guys are all still out there making ...
Tim Tebow is prolly still crying....#lilbitch
