I’ll be happy to eat a full helping of crow if these achievements don’t come to fruition. Well, as long as the 49ers win. Hunter will eclipse his statistical output from 2011. Hunter will receive significantly more touches as Frank Gore’s health...

Yeah, we had to. I think, up front, we knew that we had to stop the run early, especially because we knew if Frank Gore gets going, he is going to keep on going. He is a great running back, and I am just happy we got him stopped early and were able to get to the quarterback.
Lynch has too much value to Seattle to let him walk. They don't currently have an alternative to his production on offense and won't likely risk being able to sign or draft a replacement for 2012. Lynch may sign a long-term deal; four-years, $28...
San Francisco 49ers have their franchise leading rusher in Frank Gore on the roster. Sure, they drafted what appears to be a running back of the future, Kendall Hunter, in the 2011 NFL Draft. This definitely doesn't mean that they are not in the market...

We deserve this ... We've been down for a long time.
Alex has done a great job of getting the ball down field, and I'm good with that ... We have more success with Alex throwing the ball down the field than just looking at me and checking the ball down. It's more about the team than me and my stats.
If you're going to celebrate, you should celebrate off the field and just celebrate with your team
It can go both ways ... The ref made the call and that’s what it was. I wish we could take it back, but we’ve just got to do better.
I know I got him down, but they made the call, and we've got to live with it ... We lost, and we've got to live with it.
They're both competitive. We're competitive as a team ... Baltimore has a great team — they've been playing great ball for a while. Now we're doing our thing, so it should be a great game.
We try not to really think about (it) . . . we try to take one game at a time
I feel that the more you think about it, the tougher it gets ... I’m just happy that I have an opportunity to get it and to be named amongst the guys who are up there, that’s a blessing. I’m just having fun and playing football. If it happens, it happens.
Our defense is physical and fast, their defense is physical and fast ... We play well, they play well. It’ll be a great matchup for us.
I feel that if we can be the No. 1 seed, why not do it? ... If that comes by and we can be the No. 1 seed, we'll love it.
I was fine once I got out there
I just played football ... It was tough on the ground, but I like games like that. I like letting people know how tough our O-line is and how tough this offense is. It was great.
I hyper-extended my leg, and it kind of shut down my leg, and I couldn’t really push off like I wanted to ... I wanted to be smart, and (running backs coach Tom) Rathman wanted me to be smart, knowing we’ve got a long season ahead and we can be successful, and I want to be there.
It was 10 men in the box. They were coming to stop the run
Yeah I’ll play. I’ll play good
