Looking at the Magic vs. Boston box score on ESPN, I noticed that Vince Carter did score 26 points (on 10 for 29 shooting), but he also had 6 turnovers, 6 assists, and 6 rebounds. Does constitute some sort of basketball Satanic curse? Ironically, because none were offensive rebounds, even his stats came...

Brook, he’s destined to be an All-Star and a dominant big man in this league — soon ... I really have a lot of respect for Brook. He had that rough beginning, and just couldn’t really find his way, and to watch him emerge and see him nowÂI understand he had a great game in Minnesota. He’s on his way.
Against great defenses, down the stretch, it is sometimes hard to free people up ... You gotta have a guy --- a Paul Pierce, a Vince Carter, a Dwyane Wade, a LeBron James…..Someone who can get a shot against a good defense. Vince can get off a quality shot all the time and at least you will have a chanc...
Your first two or three years, you're trying to prove yourself -- to the NBA, to the world, to you guys -- that you belong, that you can score against the best players, the best defenders
It's a long time (to hold a grudge) ... It's interesting. Vince Carter gets that reception here; in New Jersey, he's the welcoming hero.
I wanted to approach it as every other season ... I didn't have to worry about ticket requests when I was in Toronto or in Jersey.
It's as close in volleyball as you can get to Vince Carter dunking over Frederic Weis at the (2000) Olympics
I just felt honored ... Just going to the same school as Michael Jordan, Vince Carter, Marvin Williams — all of those guys. Just to be going through what they’ve been through. Like the guys that just left — Wayne (Ellington), (Tyler) Hansbrough — it’s just an honor.
It’s shocking ... Nobody knew we could get a rookie that can defend like that, especially early on against guys like Vince Carter. He did a great job. Hopefully he can stay in there and keep it going until Tayshaun comes back.
Nah, Vince Carter is a great player. It never becomes just against one
I think those guys will always be forever grateful, especially the rookies. When you're a rookie and you come in the league, Vince Carter, he was a guy you're used to watching on TV. And now he's so down to earth and at their level. There's nothing condescending about the guy. He embraced them. That wil...
It is the chance of a lifetime to have stars such as Jason Kidd, Vince Carter, Richard Jefferson and all the others have their home court based in Brooklyn.
My vertical jump went up five inches ... I can probably get my elbow on the rim like Vince Carter. I'd say that 90 per cent of my scores got better. It's been like that for three years now. It just keeps getting better.
People keep calling (Anderson) the other guy in the Vince Carter trade ... and when I told you guys (in the media) he was a big part of the thing, you rolled your eyes. But he fits the way we play. Our team is built inside out, and you can't leave him open.
He's not the Toronto Raptors' Vince Carter who was dunking on seven-footers, but he's still one of the league's best players.
