When we launched Team GWS, I compared an AFL team in Western Sydney to the Sydney Opera House. Many thought the Opera House couldn't or shouldn't be built but it is now one of the icons of Australia, not just of Sydney.
I am really excited by the challenge. Clearly Western Sydney is a compelling opportunity for the game
I'm very happy ... I've been practicing my swim training every day and I finally made the front pack; that won me the race today. Now I want to start the 2010 season with a podium finish in Sydney at the first race of the Dextro Energy Triathlon - ITU World Championship Series in Australia.
I took eight in a park match in Sydney years ago but I've never had a situation like this one
We were very balanced ... We've worked with our setters to adjust to that, and Sydney (Anderson) set a great game.
I have experienced a France-Italy game in the U21s, a qualifier for the Sydney Olympics, with a bought referee. Rarely have I been so ripped off.
Sydney, Australia, comes to mind ... And maybe Boulder, Colo.
We want to take the Clipsal 500, Bathurst, Gold Coast and the Sydney Telstra 500 and turn them into a Grand Slam for V8s
We played Horden Pavilion in Sydney to about four thousand, and we've sold out Festival Hall, and it looks like doing the same here in Adelaide and Brisbane.
Sydney to Los Angeles. I mean, turn around, back to Sydney. I mean, over to Melbourne ... Thanks Airbus A380!
The Queensland kids like to party at home. The Melbourne private schools own the second week and then it's the Sydney kids
Greater Sydney is also home to about 20 recycled water schemes including some of the largest residential, industrial and environmental schemes in Australia, and by 2015 recycling will provide around 12 per cent of Sydney's water needs. On top of this water-efficient devices such as taps, showerheads and...
We just want to make sure things are in place before we do make any sort of noise about it, but certainly there's a lot of work being done behind the scenes, both in Sydney and in Brisbane.
Tomorrow night we have to come out and get the three points in the sense if we’re going to stay with Melbourne and Sydney, we have to make sure we win and then go on with it from there.
I'm new here, but Melbourne and Sydney, I think they've had more time together
It’s still very tight but sooner or later everyone is going to start breaking away, and I think you’ve already seen that a little bit with Melbourne and Sydney, so if we really want to stay in contention for the finals it’s certainly a game we need to win tomorrow.
The step from Brisbane to Melbourne is probably a little bit bigger than going from Brisbane to Sydney
I want to see Australians celebrating Melbourne's world-leading liveability in the same way we have trumpeted the natural beauty of Sydney's harbour in the past
I was honest with him and told him there was a lot of good things but there are different things about moving to Sydney as well, compared to Brisbane ... I think it's a good fit for him … The guys up there would be sad to see him go because he's virtually a club legend. It's unfortunate that's the way f...
If we're going to stay with Melbourne and Sydney, who've already stepped on to the mid 20s (points), we have to make sure we win and then go on with it from there.
At home, yeah I say it is. Tomorrow night we have to come out and get the three points, that's putting no pressure on anybody. In a sense if we are going to stay with Melbourne and Sydney, who have already skipped onto the mid-20s, we have to make sure we win
I probably thought two months ago Brisbane was going to be the team that I'd end my career ... but, like I said, that's the way footy is now and I've sort of moved on from that and I've just got to look forward to getting down to Sydney and playing with them.
I was very much looking forward to playing this year's Australian Open at the New South Wales Golf Club. I look forward to playing in 2010 and expect that I will make one visit to Sydney in support of The Australian Open in the middle part of 2010
It's an indication of things to come but we're not going to turn Sydney into an Asia-Pacific festival.
