I'm just surprised to win
Humbling, to say the least
I’m extremely thankful and humbled by this award ... The company that I’m in now … Just to be mentioned with some of those guys, I’m just in awe. I never thought I’d be here.
I always dreamed about playing baseball as a kid, maybe making it to the big leagues ... But I never dreamed about anything like this.
We're all working for a bigger goal, and that's to win everything ... I think we're on a good page for next year for sure.
I always dreamed about playing baseball as a kid, maybe one day making it to the big leagues, but I never dreamed about anything like this. It really is special, and I'm just really thankful for it
Not to take anything away from this award, I am so thankful for it and never thought that I'd ever in a million years get a chance to be in the conversation for it
He did it for a long time. He won a lot of awards and he won World Series and threw no-hitters and just a lot of things that I am not anywhere close to accomplishing yet

I'm still uncomfortable with it. I don't want to have any disrespect for Mr. Koufax. He did it for a long time. He won a lot of awards and he won World Series. He threw no-hitters. Just a lot of things I'm not anywhere close to accomplishing yet

I'm thankful the Dodgers gave me the opportunity to do it, instead of being in the minor leagues
I was able to learn. I was able to take my lumps. I was able to figure out how to be successful without having success ... I was having failures. That was tough to learn.
Whenever you have a Cy Young next to your name, there's going to be expectations that go along with it ... Whenever I look at a pitcher and I see that he's won a Cy Young Award, I think, you know, this guy, he better be good. And that's what I hope to be. I hope people have that expectation for me.
I always dreamed about playing in the big leagues. I never dreamed about doing anything special in the big leagues. I don't think any kid ever does ... The people I'm now associated with, just by having this award, is something that I never thought would ever happen.
A second anniversary and a World Series sounds pretty good
The only thing I will say is I'm really humbled to be here
