I remember taking Jumbo [Joe Thornton] for lunch and we talked about a lot of things
You're just trying to make him bobble the puck a little bit. They called it slashing ... They do a pretty good job of embellishing, but it is what it is.
A lot of our goals are the result of our defense ... We're riming hard.
We played well, we just didn't capitalized on some of the grade A chances we had ... I thought we deserved a better fate.
For whatever reason ... he likes playing against his former team and we're thankful for that.
You get into grooves sometimes where everything you seem to touch goes into the net ... And he's in that groove right now.
For whatever reason, we're confident on the road ... We like playing on the road. It took us a while to get into the game, but we got our legs and got going.
He had to play well for us tonight ... We got outshot 3-to-1. He played well.
He was down in the offensive zone a little more tonight ... Maybe he's our secret weapon.
Every couple of years you have to say some sort of bone-headed thing ... I just used the wrong word.
