There's nobody I would rather watch play golf than Steve Stricker, personally, as a fan
I had built up some confidence, and I wasn't worried about what he thought, or how I played with him
We were two up with four to play. Jerry Kelly and Steve Stricker birdied in and beat us. I’ve always been a big fan of JB’s ... I like his attitude and demeanor.
Some of it was seeing the ability Tiger had ... Then I started trying different things, different equipment. And I played a ton of golf in the fall. I didn't get away from the game. As you know, you have to be fresh. You have to want to be out there.
I played well all week but unfortunately didn't make any putts in the first four matches. Today was a different deal - they poured right in. I got a great tip off Steve Stricker.
We were paired together at Pebble Beach, and I walked away from there feeling my game was not anywhere close to him. And it wasn't ... He's probably done that to other players, too, don't you think? I just didn't think I had the skills or ability he had. But I'm OK with it now.
It does feel good. I was hoping it wouldn't come down to my point. I was hoping that Stricks (Steve Stricker) and I could take a victory lap back here
I think that sums it up the best ... We just go about and do our thing. It may not be the flashiest thing at times, but I do other things well. I chip and putt well. I'm driving the ball well. Everybody has got a little bit different game, and that's the way I look at mine. Do the things that we know ho...
I think Steve Stricker can't go five rounds ... I wouldn't do that to him. So we went back with Tiger and Dustin tomorrow, and we are hoping that they come out and play well and get a point.
Conditions got very difficult probably on our sixth or seventh hole ... The fan turned on and made club selection pretty tough.
I put so much effort into trying to come back and win again ... It was a joyous moment. You know where you’ve been, when you were playing well and then the bottom, it was really rewarding.
It was way more rewarding, especially when you think you may never win again ... It was a huge weight lifted off you.
He seems happy ... And he's getting his confidence back. He just needs to see the ball go in the hole a few more times.
He was hitting it as solid as I've ever seen him hit it
