That's the good thing about the NBA ... You get a tough loss the night before and you get an opportunity to come back the next night and change the outcome. Once we lost that one, we kind of forgot about it, got on the plane and got here and we got some good rest. We game back and got a win today.

It's a big moment (for DeRozan). ... He's got a real tough matchup ... It was taken away from him the first time when Vince didn't play and I think he's anxious to play. It's not like he's going to be the only guy guarding Vince (on Sunday). But it's a chance for him, at the start of the game, to play a...
I wanted to play in the NBA, and the Boston Celtics were the team I wanted to play for
I've loved this year; it's been great to watch quality soccer ... But the NBA has the best players in the world, and they're gone now from Seattle. The MLS has a good league, but these aren't obviously the best players in the world. For some people the gap has been filled, but not for me.
It's unfair when people say he's raw...he's young, been around the NBA for 4 months, he's not raw. Very athletic, bright guy. He plays with a lot of effort.
That guy belongs in the NBA ... Hopefully we find a way to keep him. He's stronger than anybody I have at that position.
He's the first Iranian to play in the NBA.
It was very nice; I totally understand that ... But I'm a guy that says there is no one great player in the NBA. The NBA lasts a lot longer than one particular person, so I understand what his point is. Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Bill Russell, all those guys should have their jerseys retired, too. I und...
When a ball is in the area of Josh, he's going to go get it ... I think he jumps higher than 99.9 percent of the players in the NBA.
They are going to be tough to be beat because they aren't missing anything ... You usually say this team needs this or this team needs that. They've got it all, they can take (Pau) Gasol and (Andrew) Bynum off the team and they would still be the favorite to win the NBA Championship. Now with those guys...
But I'm a guy that says there is no one great player in the NBA. The NBA lasts a lot longer than one particular person so I understand what his point is. A leaguewide retirement is unlikely, since the NBA leaves the decisions on retiring numbers to the teams. Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Bill Russell all ...

How is it I can work for decades developing contacts around the NBA and traveling regularly around the NBA and talking with the decision makers and some guy in his basement in his underwear is writing something that has credibility?
We were able to watch the NBA game between the Celtics and Atlanta last Friday night, and through the KiXX, we watched the NHL game between the Flyers and Devils on Monday. It was a great experience to see two different sports on different nights.
When I go to school next year, it's going to be exciting ... Jim Calhoun is a great coach. He's put a lot of NBA players into the league. Rudy Gay, Ben Gordon, Josh Boone, all of them had great impacts on their teams.
I think the NBA is missing out on the fact that the Knicks haven't been great in a few years now ... So we all know the history of the Knicks, we all know what has happened in this building and what the Knicks franchise has done for this league. So as a fan, I think it would be great someday or one day ...
What could be worse than spending 40 years in the NBA wilderness with Isiah Thomas, Larry Brown and Stephon Marbury?
We're still growing ... And I said when we were 6-1, we'll be tested when we start playing the better teams. We're still growing and we're gonna have growing pains, we're going to have good times. That's part of the NBA schedule. We've just got to bounce back.
A source says retired NBA star Jayson Williams has cut a plea deal in his reckless manslaughter case that would send him to prison for up to three years.
Ex-NBA star Jayson Williams will cut a deal that could send him to prison for three years in the aftermath of the accidental shooting of his driver nearly eight years ago, according to a report.
The NBA family is deeply saddened by the passing of Al Cervi, a Hall of Famer and one of our true pioneers ... Al was instrumental in helping lay the groundwork for today’s NBA, first as a star player, and then as a championship-winning coach. He will be missed.
