We should be built for next year
I think the Griz Nation has grown so strong and enthusiastic because we've had every home and away game televised for roughly 10 years. I'm sure Bobcat fans will be just as upset if they can't catch their team's playoff games on TV ... Such fans might have to go back to the old-school days of listening ...
I said, 'Let's not forget what happened
You look at all the factors of this game, this was one of our four losses (last season) ... We had three down and the No. 1 team in the country at their house for Cat-Griz. Satisfying isn't even the word for it. But yeah, I am satisfied. It was awesome.
They're not a five seed. They're as good as any football team in our section. I knew that as soon as I looked at the brackets. They could have been seeded much higher and I don't think anyone would have argued. But at this stage everyone is good. It's the best of the best.
It was awesome to be just on the Grizzlies' court again ... Vancouver needs (NBA) basketball in this city. It was a bit different to play in front of a crowd that I know everybody. But I treated it just like another game. I did everything like it was another game.
They're a very solid football team. They're going to play excellent run defense. They're real aggressive and very good on the defensive line. They have some outstanding linebackers that give them some flexibility, and their corners can play man so they just present a lot of problems.
