I believe that WADA has acted very properly from the moment that we got news of the Court of Arbitration for Sport decision ... We asked them (the BOA) to consider their decision.
We had their decision conveyed to us through a vitriolic spray in a speech that was circulated to everyone except us earlier this week
WADA would appreciate a proper reply to the correspondence
The BOA, as a signatory to the code, has agreed to accept and implement all of the provisions of the code, including those relating to sanctions, and to abide by them
WADA has simply suggested that the BOA consider its rule in light of all the information available to it
So far, WADA has not received any correspondence in reply
Accepting that any signatory must be free to criticize, it is disappointing to read the BOA president's comments, some of which are misinformed and inaccurate, and many of which have been addressed by WADA stakeholders in the last code review or by WADA in its present activities
