In 2011, the Seahawks finished in the bottom 10 in sacks, so the front office chooses this 6-5, 310 pound pass-rushing tackle/end to help take some pressure off Chris Clemons. Devon Still had a fantastic 2011 campaign and is the top consensus player on...
I'd argue that the decision won't be a difficult one come April. The Seahawks came alive on the defensive side in 2011, holding nine of their last 10 opponents under 23 points and ranking in the top-15 in both pass and run defense. The nucleus, which...

Ultimately, I think that the Seahawks will target a pass-rushing defensive end or linebacker like USC’s Nick Perry. Perry would give the Seahawks' pass-rush a needed boost and serve as a compliment to Chris Clemons. Plus, we all know Pete Carrol loves...
The Dolphins need a solid right tackle. Reiff fills a big need. The Bills need a pass rusher and are likely to play more four-man fronts under new defensive coordinator Dave Wannstedt. Ingram is the perfect fit. The Seahawks could use another edge...

They have several guys who are really good: [Brandon] Mebane, [Red] Bryant, [Alan] Branch. Ideally you want the guy playing in aggressive pass-rushing situations and helping to seal an edge against the run. The Seahawks currently use a hybrid 4-3 with a lot of 3-4 tendencies. There's scope to introduce even more 3-4 sets to this scheme,...

It’s big ... Any time you can score on special teams you can change the game.
I saw Lex and I was thinking, 'Let me get it, don't mess with it,' ... Any time you can score on special teams you can change the game.
Put the ball in the hands of Sam, the game kind of changes for everybody ... Sam is a very good quarterback and I think he's got a lot of up side to him. With them reshuffling the offensive line it's kind of different for him.
Each phase of the game we think we did excellent at [Sunday]
They weren't really blocking us ... They were just sliding over. After a couple times I decided if they just took off again I was going after the ball.
