I have appreciated so much all the messages I have received after the injury
Fabio Capello is keen to offer the injured David Beckham an off-the-pitch role with England at the World Cup this summer.
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their messages of support, they mean a lot to me
David Beckham, playing for AC Milan, will be returning to London this evening to face his former team Manchester United.
I'm feeling positive and now concentrating on getting back to full fitness over the coming months
Before Bend It , the footballer David Beckham was not quite the mega-star he is now. You’ll be surprised to know how many people would ask who the Beckham in the title was. I think Beckham became a big star afterwards. If I were to make Bend It Like Beckham today it’d be impossible. David Beckham has be...

To be honest, it's not my business. I'm a United fan and I support the club. I always will. It's nothing to do with me how it's run. That's to do with other people.
It's a very exciting concept. If players are out of contract there will be nothing to stop them coming. India saw how Major League Soccer got David Beckham. This would be on a much bigger scale.
I am upset but (want) to thank everyone for their messages of support

Am I banking on going to the World Cup? No, not at all

People might think I am confident about going to the World Cup but that's not the case, not at all
I would have Rooney as one, and Crouch, Heskey and Defoe would be the others. I think there's another space there now. It still might be unlikely that Carlton Cole will go because in a way he is similar to Crouch and to Heskey, but because of David Beckham going he might use Theo Walcott as a right-hand...
I am not guaranteed to go to South Africa
I would have thought that David Beckham would have gone to the World Cup, and I assume that if Aaron Lennon is fit and playing well he will be, so I think there's another place up for grabs. I would take Theo Walcott. I'm a fan of his. I know he's been criticised for his final ball and his football brai...
He's such an exceptional talent
The mind-bending genius of David Beckham
I’m a Manchester United fan. When I saw the scarf I put it round my neck. It’s the old colours ... and that’s all I know.
The narrative of David Beckham's public life is, I'm sure, far from over... but this poem is written in sympathy for this part of his story and to draw a parallel with Achilles, who gave his name to Beckham's injury
He's such an exceptional talent ... I think without a doubt he's one of the best, if not the best player at the moment along with (Real Madrid's Cristiano) Ronaldo and (Barcelona's Lionel) Messi.
