The way it’s gone this season for us with different guys, I’m not going to say anything like that today
In those seasons, the Cowboys ran a fairly balanced offense, with pass-to-run play ratios of 519-449 in 2004, 500-521 in 2005 and 506-472 in 2006. That changed significantly in 2007 when he was hired by former Steelers offensive coordinator Ken...

Just like a lot of these guys, he made a lot of mistakes early ... When you do that, you have a tendency to lose your confidence. Sam wasn't thrown into the fire where he had to do it in games, so he got a chance to come along the right way. When he got his opportunity, he was very confident. That's pro...
Now, the quarterback is anxious about what offense Haley might run -- whether he will chuck the Steelers offense that has evolved from Mike Mularkey to Ken Whisenhunt to Arians in favor of his own, whether he will maintain the Steelers offense or...
Haley also said the Steelers offense will retain some of what they did for five years under Bruce Arians. He also said the terminology they used in Arizona and the philosophy he adopted under former Steelers offensive coordinator Ken Whisenhunt will be...

We had the spot and we thought we would take an opportunity to look at him
He’s sore, which, after everything he went through Sunday, with that many carries and his knee bent back, (was expected) ... But it was good to see him out here. I think he is in the mindset he will push through it. That’s what we needed him to do and I have a lot of respect for him doing it.
He's sore, after everything he went through Sunday ... It was getting that many carries and then having his knee bent back on that one play, but it's good to see him out here today. I think he's in the mindset that he's going to push through it, and that's what we needed him to do. I have a lot of respe...
The natural tendency is to put them in there and just let them play, grow with them ... But you can’t always do that. It’s not fair to the other guys on your team who have been here and worked hard. I think as long as you’re true to guys earning it, then you will always be OK.
That was tough. When he got his knee bent back, it looked horrible ... At that point, I'm sure most of us assumed that was it, that he was done, because he was already fighting the knee.
That was really the challenge that we issued to the team ... that 'We've got to be able to run the football against these guys because they think they're going to shut you down. We've got to do better.' Obviously, I need to do that more often because it worked pretty good (Sunday).
I think it's very significant
Mentally, it's tough on you ... You see a lot of players that don't go the right way when that happens. But Beanie believed in himself, he worked hard and he came in with a great attitude (this season) and it's paid off.
I think we're certainly a lot more optimistic about him being able to go this week
I don't think you could have expected him to return four for touchdowns in his rookie year ... Steve Breaston did a vey nice job for us in the years that he was here, but when we got Patrick, we knew he was going to be special as a returner. . . . I can say now after his fourth one that I'm not surprise...
Beanie is sore today and a little swelling, but not as bad as we thought it might be
When he got his knee bent back, it looked horrible, and at that point, I’m sure most of us assumed that was it, he was done
It’s really going to depend on where he is Wednesday and as the week progresses
It's really going to depend on where he is Wednesday and as the week progresses ... but he made enough progress last week that you feel good about him being able to do it this week.
Beanie is sore today and a little swelling, but not as bad as we thought it might be ... so we'll see where he is Wednesday and hopefully he'll be able to do a little work in Wednesday's practice.
When he got his knee bent back, it looked horrible, and at that point, I'm sure most of us assumed that was it, he was done ... because he was already fighting the knee. But to his credit, he fought through it, came back in, and had a couple of big runs. Kudos to Beanie. When you talk about trying to ge...
I think we are certainly a lot more optimistic about [Kolb] is being able to go this week
It was a risk, and I totally understand that ... But we told Beanie to hold onto it, and I was just trying to get one yard. The franchise marks are very important.
Beanie has grown up and is a tough-minded guy
If you think about standing on the sideline for three quarters and all of a sudden you have to go in, it's tough to get that thing warmed up and ready to go, especially when you're playing on turf ... I anticipate it won't be an issue this week.
It doesn't take very long to figure out when you're around Sam how smart he is ... He's got athletic ability, but he makes plays because he understands where he needs to be and what he needs to do. What a good, young man and a good, young player.
It’s tough to get that thing warmed up and ready to go ... That was the biggest concern today. I anticipate that won’t be an issue this week.
It was obvious they were going to try and stop us from throwing the football, which was a surprise to me
