Had his best stretch of ball in Big 12 play ... He came in and was aggressive defensively on the ball, got a steal right off the bat. A couple jumpers went down for him. He got to the line. It was nice to see that.

I told Cam, 'Hey, the objective here is to get you jump-started,'
Texas Tech Red Raiders embarrassed the Oklahoma Sooners to say the least as they broke an 11-game losing streak and notched their first "W" in conference. What Lon Kruger, while I am still a fan, put on the court looked all the part of a high-school team.

I told Cam, 'Hey, the objective here is to get you jump-started,'
As ugly as that was, as disappointing as that was, I think we have to learn from it ... We came back and played a better half against Kansas, didn’t do what we wanted to at Stillwater. I think we learned from that.
We shot well, which helped a lot of things, especially because we couldn’t keep Kansas State from second shots and loose balls ... They did a great job there.
I thought Carl did a good job ... The starting lineup could change but it was nice to see both of them do well.
The guys have worked hard and we haven't won
We'll definitely miss Calvin ... He's been a key contributor this season and a guy who's scored the basketball for us. However, I respect his decision and the issues he's facing, and certainly wish him the best.
Jarion is long and rangy and will bring a versatility with him to Norman ... He is a good mid-range shooter but can also score well around the rim. He has a knack for keeping possessions alive with his offensive rebounding, and we also like his ability to pass, defend and run the floor. We look forward ...
I think they’ll win a ton of games ... They have an experienced club. They respect what each (teammate) can do. They play well together. [Saint Louis coach Rick Majerus'] clubs are really tough. I really like their team. I think they’ll get national attention very quickly and are very deserving of that.
In the second half, we responded a little bit ... I’m anxious to get back to practice. The thing I know about this group is they work awfully hard to make progress. I like our starting point as we go forward.
He’s a big, strong guy who has a really good feel for the game in terms of how to get open inside ... He has a great attitude about working extremely hard. There are a whole lot of things to like about him. He does a lot of things very well and gets great results.
They are a club that executes as well as anyone
It's not a good feeling in the short term
He's such a big, strong guy ... He has a good feel for the game, he knows how to get open inside, he has a great attitude and he works extremely hard the whole game.
They're bigger than us ... more experienced and more physical.
Alexander really took charge for them
We were thinking timeout ... They were thinking shot. Just one of those things, I guess.
Pretty spectacular. Pretty amazing ... When he took off, I didn't know exactly what he was gonna do.
A good second game ... We have a lot of work ahead and we look forward to it.
There are some stretches we'd like to clean up, but still, it's the second game ... I thought the guys approached it well.
Guys are doing a good job of attacking and pushing it ... They are aggressive with it. It's good to see.
I’d known Kurt for many years and always admired and respected him for his work as a basketball coach and for the type of person he was ... We’re all thinking about everyone in the Oklahoma State family affected by this terrible tragedy.

He's doing better all the time.
The word we use more than any is 'engage,' ... Engage people. Cal is a delightful guy with a good personality. He just needs to let it go a little bit.
