The NFL fired a pistol shot across our bow and Al Davis followed with a machine gun
We have one guy on our own network that we own, the NFL Network, who’s worked for five teams in this league, he’s been fired by all five teams and he comes on as an expert and says that Richard doesn’t want to play for the Raiders, he doesn’t want to go out there
It’s a start ... They don’t have the worst record for once, and they don’t have Al Davis (of the Oakland Raiders) as an owner. (Quarterback Matthew) Stafford is getting better every week. Patience.
When will (Raiders coach) Tom Cable and (owner) Al Davis recognize (Russell) is not ready to be a big time quarterback in this league? It’s my feeling that both owe it to the other 52 players on the roster to make a change.
