I'd rather be the underdogs, and I think the players will say the same thing ... We're not the New York Yankees, who I think are one of the best put-together teams maybe in the history of baseball. We don't have Albert Pujols, we don't have Matt Holliday anymore. But I like our position.

It's just awesome ... We have a great group of guys and we're going to continue, hopefully, to win. Hopefully go into the postseason with the attitude that we've had since day one of the season, which is getting to the World Series. This is just one step that you take. It doesn't stop here.
We're not trying to hit Ryan Ludwick to get to Albert Pujols with the bases loaded up by four. Common sense says that's not what you want to do. I think even Albert knew.

We can be all happy and excited about clinching and making the playoffs, but our main goal is to get to the World Series ... That's just one step we take, almost like a baby step. You have to crawl before you can start walking. We're crawling right now.
It's obviously pretty special what we've been doing ... but our main goal is to try to get to the World Series and win it. If we don't accomplish that, it doesn't matter what kind of season we have. If you don't accomplish your goal, you're going to have a disappointing season.
