The fans know and the Cardinals know that I want to be a Cardinal for my whole career ... I love this city. The way that this city has embraced me and my family, I don't think other cities do that. And when you hear all of the players that come around to this town and say, 'You guys are lucky that you a...
Braun batted .320 with 32 home runs and 114 RBI, and led the NL with 203 hits. He is the first Brewers player to win consecutive Silver Slugger Awards since Paul Molitor, who claimed the honor as DH in the American League in 1987-'88....Brewers first baseman Prince Fielder, who won the award in 2007, ag...
This year, we haven't done anything, just getting to the playoffs ... If you tell me in November when the postseason is done that we accomplished that goal, winning a World Series, I can tell you then. Right now, I think we have a great team. I think we're pretty equipped with everything that we have. I...

Listen, everybody wants to clinch ... When you go to spring training you want an opportunity to play in October, and we have a pretty good chance to get there. It's been a great year so far, but we haven't accomplished what we want ... which is getting to the World Series and knowing that we have the ta...

We can be all happy and excited about clinching and making the playoffs, but our main goal is to get to the World Series ... That's just one step we take, almost like a baby step. You have to crawl before you can start walking. We're crawling right now.
It's obviously pretty special what we've been doing ... but our main goal is to try to get to the World Series and win it. If we don't accomplish that, it doesn't matter what kind of season we have. If you don't accomplish your goal, you're going to have a disappointing season.
