I'd rather be the underdogs, and I think the players will say the same thing ... We're not the New York Yankees, who I think are one of the best put-together teams maybe in the history of baseball. We don't have Albert Pujols, we don't have Matt Holliday anymore. But I like our position.

We can be all happy and excited about clinching and making the playoffs, but our main goal is to get to the World Series ... That's just one step we take, almost like a baby step. You have to crawl before you can start walking. We're crawling right now.

It's obviously pretty special what we've been doing ... but our main goal is to try to get to the World Series and win it. If we don't accomplish that, it doesn't matter what kind of season we have. If you don't accomplish your goal, you're going to have a disappointing season.
