That?s why I?m optimistic that he will play ... I look at the history a little bit, and no doubt Alex Brown is a tough guy. You see it in his play every time, and he?s getting better. He was able to do a little bit more Thursday.

I was here when coach Smith wasn't here ... So, I remember how it was. Not to say anything bad about coach (Dick) Jauron, but it's a lot different now. Coach (Smith) has a way of doing things, and that's doing it right all of the time. And if you don't adapt to that, then you won't be here. He has taken...
They thrive on turnovers ... They get a lot of guys around the ball. [ Charles] Tillman, [ Nathan] Vasher and [ Lance] Briggs like to slap the ball out. Alex Brown is very opportunistic up front. You have to take care of the ball.
They won, what, six in a row, then they lost one? They could lose six in a row ... Doesn't look likely, but they could. Everybody sees Minnesota's record. We have to do our part, and we play them twice. We can definitely have some say in that.
It's embarrassing to come out and play like that ... We represent the Chicago Bears, and we shouldn't play like that. They did whatever they wanted to.
