It's sad that Congressman Kirk would rather win an election than lower the cost of health care for Illinois families, but with these words and ten years of voting with big drug and insurance companies to block reform, Congressman Kirk has made it clear he puts politics ahead of our families

For 25 years, the President Abraham Lincoln Hotel has stood as a monument to the greed and cronyism that has tainted Illinois state government ... The hotel has always been known for the deal-making, influence-peddling and suspect accounting that went on behind its closed doors.

While I am disappointed in the result, I am proud of our president for going to Copenhagen to fight for Chicago and fight for the jobs the Olympics would have created. I am glad the President did not listen to the Republicans and run up the white flag in competing for the Olympics
David is flat-out wrong. As a candidate for U.S. Senate, Alexi Giannoulias has never accepted any campaign contributions from the Community Bankers Association ... He owes the public an explanation as to why he would make this irresponsible accusation, and he owes Alexi an apology.
