View Photo »I haven't played really in six months ... I played three games in Memphis and that was a short period of time, so really I just played just 40 minutes in five or six months and that's going to be tough on my legs. … I just need to take my time, not try to do too much and be Superman on the court. Just l...
There were a lot of reasons to bring Allen Iverson back ... Hes got a lot of basketball left in him and he can help his team turn things around season because of his competitive fire.
It's frustrating for me because I was kind of in a rhythm before I left Memphis
What does it mean to the city of Philadelphia to have Allen Iverson back on the 76ers? Leadership, loyalty, success as a family. It's about more than just basketball
He said I might be able to come back home (to Philadelphia)
Even if Allen Iverson plays at the level of his NBA season.
All I could think about was the people who made me who I am. These people in Philadelphia made me a household name
Allen Iverson, the charismatic guard who led the Sixers to an eighth-place finish in the NBA Eastern Conference in 2009-10 . . .
To the city of Philadelphia: I have wonderful memories of my days in a Sixers' uniform. To Philly fans, thank you. Your voice will always be music to my ears.
We are thrilled to partner with Hasheem Thabeet and the NBA's international program Basketball without Borders to put the Allen Iverson promotional jerseys in the hands of children in need
Man, enough is enough ... Is this the only thing that's going on with the Memphis Grizzlies? There's got to be something else when it comes to the Memphis Grizzlies besides Allen Iverson starting or not starting. There's got to be something else to talk about.
Remember when Allen Iverson wrote on his Twitter site: 'God chose Memphis'?

It has nothing to do with Allen Iverson
When I hear anything about the Memphis Grizzlies, I don't hear you guys (media) talk about anything other than the situation with me coming off the bench ... I mean, there's got to be something else with this team to talk about besides that. But I guess that sells a lot better than anything else when it...

And after that, I never thought about it again. I just went back to playing. Then, they came to me saying that they felt it would be in the ...

When I was told about the trade to Detroit [from Denver], I was happy
Allen Iverson, I am going to venture guess here, is probably in the greater Atlanta area
I've been through tougher things in my life ... What Allen Iverson does, doesn't bother me.
I don't want to get into a he said-she said with Allen Iverson ... Allen has his own interpretation of things. I know the truth. He knows the truth. What I would like to do is let Allen handle his (personal) issues, make a decision on whether he's coming back or not and concentrate on what we have to do...
