It was kind of like I didn't hit the first time but I did hit the second time ... The truth of it is that none of it counts because it's spring training.
James Loney at first ... Second base we’ve got (still unsigned) Orlando Hudson, shortstop we’ve got, obviously, the great Rafael Furcal, third base we’ve got Casey Blake. Left field we’ve got Manny, who else, and Juan Pierre when Manny was on his ‘vacation’; I can’t believe they traded him (Pierre), he ...
The truth of it is that none of it counts.
I can't point the finger at one thing ... You might see the ball out of a certain guy's hand. With him, I really don't know. I just know he'll come right after you and challenge you. You've got to be ready. He'll definitely pitch you in and he does it aggressively.

If this is Manny's last year in L.A.
It’s another sad day for baseball ... But it is obvious that in that era and at that time, even the guys who were big wanted to be bigger to stay on top and stay ahead. It was an unfortunate time and culture, but it was widely accepted in baseball. They keep it out of baseball now with all the testing t...
