View Photo »When you know the team is coming to you inside, to take advantage of the matchups, that gets you excited ... I'm in good shape this year, I'm able to handle the minutes. We had 78 points in the paint tonight (to Phoenix's 48). I'll take that.
They Indeed, the Suns hammered the New Orleans Hornets on Wednesday in Phoenix, but then watched helplessly as the Lakers did to them what they did to the Hornets in a 124-104 victory at the US Airways Center. How surprised was I? I wasn't surprised ... They took us out of a lot of things we like to do....
They are a good rebounding team. Their big players are always in a position to get rebounds. Great teams are not just one or two players. With two big guys out (Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum), they found a way to get around those injuries
For me, previously, I had those two big seven-footers (Andrew Bynum and Pau Gasol) that were getting all the rebounds ... My job was to get out and run. You have to recondition your brain to do something else.
Leading the pack [of most overpaid players] is Los Angeles Lakers center Andrew Bynum, a first-round pick out of high school four years ago who's churned out nine points and six rebounds in 21 minutes per game as a pro.
