They are public servants and they stepped up to the plate and they did the right thing ... I think it is a powerful message and other unions should look at it and learn from it.
No evaluation system in place because the bureaucracy doesn't want one. I'm not going to make that happen. We're going to put an evaluation system in place that's going to represent the student's interest first
This is a highly successful private sector company that does this all around the globe, exquisitely well, building a center with their money that is going to create jobs for New Yorkers and revenues for New Yorkers
When you look at the different tracks and the different deals that these different tracks have gotten, they all have different terms
It's hard to reform a pension system ... It affects many employees, many powerful public employee unions and politically it's difficult to get legislators to do this.
