Fighting in eastern Congo has displaced hundreds of thousands of civilians in recent weeks, with 386 familes taking shelter in the Don Bosco school compound. There are currently 43 cholera cases among the total of 1,519 people seeking refuge at the school.
As has been documented we didn't think we'd have Andrew [Strauss] so we tried to get Neil Dexter to replace him ... We appealed to the technical committee and they rejected it as they are very keen that the side that goes to the Champions League was the same side that represented us in the domestic. 
It leaves the door open to Vaughany and Andrew Strauss and other names you might think are missing from the list.
I would have put Andrew Strauss in as captain ... I would have said for the moment 'put him in the one-day game'.
I worried about what this meant for me when I was left out of Headingley and it was without doubt the biggest disappointment of my career ... The only thing that comes close to it was when I was left out of the second Test in Pakistan [in 2005] and I worried whether I would ever make it as a Test player. Thankfully, then I got back in when Straussy [Andrew Strauss] went home for the birth of his child and now I've got the chance to get back straight away now.
This is the one that has meant the most to us. It's taken a very long time to get hold of the trophy. The confidence we've gained and the lessons we've learnt is important going into Australia.
The emotion we felt after Edgbaston was always going to be difficult to re-invent ... We'd play well for an hour and then lose our way a bit. Even though we almost got ourselves back into the game a few times we were just lacking that oomph we had in the other games.
