View Photo »Obviously, there are not as many as there were last year ... But, at the same time, everybody is still playing hard and the fans support us, so we still get the same feeling (from the fans). Our fans are still with us no matter what.
I didn't even see him take it ... One of those nights.
I knew what he was capable of, because he has always been a scorer and a rebounder. Now, he's getting a chance to make plays, and it's all coming together for him ... Everything is not going to be perfect, but every time he takes a little hit, he comes back even stronger.
That tells you about his confidence ... That's why he's so good. That's why he was good at Davidson. That's why he has been good his whole life. He doesn't care how many shots he misses. He thinks he is going to make the next one. That confidence rubs off on the other guys and makes you forget he is a r...
Of course it's going to be tough
I got caught just watching him ... It was like I was watching something on TV. He's a special player who can do that any given night.
It was huge just having him out there to create those mismatches for us again ... He really carried us for a while.
I always think about where I came from and where I was at the beginning of last year ... Nobody used to care if I made or missed a three. It's a blessing to have that kind of reputation in the NBA.
The three-point contest is past, so I don't worry about my percentage anymore ... I know most of my shots are going to fall, so I'm trying to adjust to what opponents are doing and thinking about getting better as an all-around player.
At the beginning of last year, nobody cared if I made or missed any 3s ... So it's a blessing to have that kind of reputation in the league.
I thought I had it ... I'll take that shot anytime, ever. I just missed it. I'm so mad at myself. I've just got to hold my composure.
We've got a lot of warriors on this team, a lot of guys playing through a lot of injuries ... C.J. went out there feeling woozy, but he went out there and played.
Mostly I feel myself being more aggressive, not being timid, not worrying about missing shots ... Just being aggressive all-around offensively. For us to be in the game, I feel like I have to get a certain amount of shots to help Monta (Ellis) and Steph (Curry) out.
We didn't get rattled. We kept playing the way we did the whole game
has a lot on his shoulders night-in and night-out ... We've got to continue to rally around each other and pick each other up. Whenever I come out of the game and am frustrated, he is the first one to pick me up.
Obviously, he was a big-time scorer ... but mostly, he was a great locker-room guy. He was a real good guy. A true veteran.
Teams game-plan against him, and he is just getting his legs back ... We know that when he is right, we can come out here and just play around him and let him do his thing.
I'm focused on the team we have now and the situation we're in now ... I like the team we have now. If it weren't for the injury bug, we'd have a lot of talent at each position.
I'm going to make it, too
The whole point of the event is to have fun. You want to be competitive, and you want to win, but it's all about having fun.
I want to show that I should have been in the competition ... I didn't get in, but I know I'll have other years to come in and win it.
He's the heart and soul of this team ... You see the work he does night in and night out. It would be tough for us (if he's out).
I'd rather us win the game then me score however many points ... We have a lot of losses piling but everybody is still upbeat and playing together.
I was just praying that he was alright, me coming off that knee injury and him having a knee injury like that earlier in his career it was just tough seeing that, so I just wanted to run down there and make sure he was alright ... I was glad he got up on his own, I just hope it's not as bad as it seemed...
There's some great guards out there and yes, Monta Ellis has had a special season. ... But we have the second-best record, and the man The announcement was expected to come Wednesday, but it never came. It could come today. Fortunately for Morrow, the news of him playing in the Rookie Challenge has been...
