They celebrate as well as anybody I've ever been involved with ... You take the Diamondbacks in 1999 and 2001, the celebrations I was involved with in Cleveland, Arizona winning the World Series -- and these guys have this part down right. I just hope they can keep this going on the field and see how the ultimate celebration will go. As far as celebrating, this team has no learning curve. They've got it down solid.

The big thing is that we have some momentum going into the For now, and for the next week, the Dodgers clearly have the upper hand over second-place Arizona. The Dodgers are at home, where they are 45-30 for the season, against the fourth-place Giants and fifth-place Padres. The Diamondbacks are on the road, where they are 31-43, for three at Colorado and four at St. Louis. Oh, sure ... But I don't think we're thinking we have to win it by this day or that day. Our mentality is that we have to go under the assumption that (the Diamondbacks) are going to win every game, so we have to win every game ourselves. It took us a long time to get in a position where we don't need any help, so we can't just squander that. We just want to win and have a good homestand.
We have struggled the last two weeks, but nobody has broken away ... It's still up for grabs.
You can’t speed that process up ... We’re a gifted team athletically, but we make youthful mistakes that give you stomach pains. They’re learning, and playing pretty well while they’re doing it – but the expectations after finishing first last year, and doing so well in the postseason, are on the team now.

In the postseason today, it’s not always the best starting rotation that wins ... It’s the best three pitchers a team has. With off days in a best-of-five or a best-of-seven series, some teams won’t need more than three starters. That’s not the measure of the best team – it’s the measure of a team with three dominant starting pitchers.
