Half the time I was in South Africa, some time in England, some time in Australia. When India were winning the World Twenty20, I was in Munich
All the bowlers did well. Ashish Nehra is at his usual impressive form, Ishant Sharma is continuing with his good show and good thing is Praveen Kumar has come up good as well ... Ravindra Jadeja came in late but got three crucial wickets in the last game.
Half the time I was in South Africa, some time in England, some time in Australia. When India were winning the World Twenty20, I was in Munich
Indian bowling lacks the sting with Ashish Nehra and Ishant Sharma struggling to regain their forms in Sri Lanka and in the Champions Trophy thereafter. With Munaf (Patel) too making a comeback, after a long lay-off, and spinner Harbhajan Singh looking a shadow of his past, there are mounting concerns i...
The wicket was on a slower side so we needed to bowl a good line and length ... To pick up two or three early wickets was the best thing, that's why we restricted New Zealand to 150.
Some of our big names (Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Ashish Nehra and Ishant Sharma) will be on international duty (against Australia) while Mithun Manhas is unfit. The experience of Aakash Chopra and Rajat Bhatia should come handy since the team has a couple of new faces. I expect the youngsters to ...
Frankly speaking, I was thinking in the middle that it was one of those days in which we fell short by three or four bowlers. Thankfully, Ashish Nehra and Yusuf Pathan did their job
Ashish Nehra has been doing well since his comeback and I expect Ishant to do better since he has the height and would generate more bounce in South Africa. These days, Ishant tends to go wide of the crease. His bowling coach should tell him to run straight and I thing it would be okay with him
We had used Ishant as first change with a slightly used ball as Ashish Nehra and R P Singh are better at swinging the new ball. Batsmen go after the first change bowler and you never know what good figures are (for such bowlers). He's done well in Tests
