The club want me to stay, so there should be no problems ... I love it here, I feel this is my home. I’m interested in getting back in the England squad, but I just want to keep moving forward nice and slowly and when England comes round I’ll be ready.
Ashley Cole has not been selected in the England squad for their friendly against Brazil. He has a depressed fracture of the tibia, an injury first picked up in the Atletico Madrid home match last month

I don't think people should look at this squad as an old squad – John Terry, Frank Lampard, Ashley Cole are, for me, young players, not old ones
Executive produced by Rio Ferdinand and Ashley Cole
It was a testimony to how well QPR played that we had to use Ashley Cole [ Images ], Frank Lampard [ Images ] and John Terry [ Images ] as substitutes in the second half.
It's more about the future of this club - to have John Terry, Frank Lampard, Didier Drogba and Ashley Cole in this team and at this club for years to come.
