Apart from that the rest is easy.
To win the Golden Slipper [Phelan Ready] and the Caulfield Cup for Bart Cummings are two moments that I will never forget.
The other day he kept looking at horses around him on the inside and outside but the blinkers corrected that problem
I'm sure I'm remembering this right that Bart Cummings said to me years ago that turn a filly or mare out for too long and they start laying fat in the gut that you can never get out. And my father told me one time that you should never spell a horse for too long.
Rock Classic had a few problems which we have corrected now and he stepped up from second rank and was good enough
In transferring to Anthony Cummings I wanted to open a few more doors and be able to ride for him and a few more stables such as Grahame Begg, David Payne and Bart Cummings
Zabeels seem to respond well to gelding and his win today was first class. He has the makings of a group 1 winner in the future
He had a few problems and we resolved the problems and the result's been perfect
I think he [Sirmione] will be even better this week
Denman looked good but So You Think is coming along nicely ... The two look a class above the rest.
The whole thing is going to be a disaster unless the VRC do something about it
He was my greatest opponent in distance (staying) races
