Stover's minutes in the first half, where he was changing shots, blocking shots - defensively was a huge boost ... Stover has really played well for us. He played very well for us against Arizona and had key minutes for us against ASU.
It's our execution ... We're getting better at getting the reads and the second and third options off of our sets. We're still not executing as well as we'd like, but we're moving definitely in the right direction. That's huge for us.
We’ve spent a lot more time on it than we had early in the year
Obviously the board play was huge for us
Jerime is really under control and running our offense
Our need for a win tonight was exemplified by how hard we played defensively ... Our team That's how we have to play.
He'll always remember he got them knocked out in a win
Norm came off the bench and played well for us
We appreciate the fans who were here tonight
We have to play with that kind of desire every time we play to be successful ... Our team defense was by far the best effort we had all year.
Our need for a win was really exemplified by how hard our guys played defensively ... Our team defense was by far the best effort we've had all season, and that's how we need to play.
We were dying to get a win ... It was a completely different group of guys out there. We were on the road for six days. To come back and get a win after two practices is good.
Those were true blue Bruin fans
Those were true blue Bruin fans ... 1-4 hasn't happened here in a long time. An 8 p.m. game on a Monday night, it's a later game. I really appreciate all the fans that made it to the game in person today. We appreciate the support.
They'll play better ... I'm confident of that going forward. And obviously we need them to.
We are hard-hedging whereas before we were plugging ... We may go back to that, but I prefer hard-hedging. Both twins (Wears) played really hard tonight and Travis is learning to be more of an aggressive defensive player.
I'm not concerned who starts ... It may change; it may be that Reeves [Nelson] doesn't start, or whoever. It's who's in the game at the end, and we want our best defensive team to be in the game at the end.
He practiced (Sunday) and he moved fine so I expect him to play (today)
It's just that it's my decision that I'm not starting him any time soon ... It's based on having been suspended. He's got to have a good attitude and be accountable for a while before that's going to happen.
He's got to have a good attitude and be accountable for a while
We have expectations of how our players represent the university on and off the court ... When those standards aren't met, there are consequences.
Hardaway started to take over at that point and started to play well, from the 15-minute mark to the 5-minute mark
