With them having Bernard Berrian [who averages 20.1 yards on his 48 catches], you can't really play eight in the box, because he can burn you deep.
I think it's going to take a little bit of time to get me back into the rotation ... Bobby (Wade) and Bernard (Berrian) are doing a great job. I'm not making an argument or anything. I'm a team player. As long as they're doing a great job, I have no problem with it.
They still respect the run, I feel, a little more than the pass ... But I feel like Bernard (Berrian) and a couple other receivers are stepping up, and sooner or later they're going to respect the pass more, too.
The pass to Bernard [Berrian] that was tipped and picked is going to make me ill when I see it on tape in the morning
They have played better in the passing game since [Frerotte took over in Week 3] ... Maybe that was getting Bernard Berrian more involved. It seems like all of that kind of came together at the same time. I thought Jackson did some good things when he was in there, too. But they're doing a better job of running and passing the ball now.
His gift to inner-city families is a blessing for many who are struggling to make ends meet this holiday season and proves that one person really can make a difference. We hope the community will rise to Bernard's challenge and help put turkeys on every table in the Twin Cities during the holidays.
But we can help. That's why I'm challenging my fellow Vikings teammates and all Twin Citians to join me in helping to end hunger this holiday season.
I'm new to town but want to express my deep appreciation for the support shown by Vikings fans. I realize there is a great need for help in our community right now because of the economy, and people are really hurting
I still thought Rex was going to be the guy. That's the way it just worked out. I always thought the way Kyle managed the game, it enables them really to let the defense win the game. They've been playing good football on both sides of the ball, so it's been even better.
A little bit. But I've always said [Orton's] style of play, it enables them to win easier.
