You definitely have to be on high alert ... His trickeration level is high. Everybody remembers the Super Bowl him throwing a touchdown pass but me being a Big 10 guy I remember watching him under center at Indiana.
I don't worry about the Pac-10 or the Big 10 or the top 10 ... We just take them one game at a time.
Legacy is a big thing ... It's gone well for us with five straight BCS bowl games, five straight Big Ten championships and four wins against Michigan. Now we get to finish the deal. That's how we'll be judged, how we finish these last two games. If we get the fifth win against Michigan and the bowl win ...
It hurts ... I think about it all the time. The first two (years) I was here, it always came down to the Ohio State game to win that Big Ten title.
At the beginning of the year ... We talked about finishing in the top half of the Big Ten and getting and NCAA bid, those were our goals and I think that the experience we're gaining now especially since they're so young will have a benefit if we use it in the right direction.
It's part of you if you like football and you're from Ohio State or you're from Michigan -- if you're in the Big Ten. You just grow up knowing that we're fortunate to be part of this game. It's extraordinary.
It's gonna be tough in this part of the season ... But it's gonna prepare us for the Big Ten Tournament and the NCAA Tournament, and for the Big Ten season as well.
Hopefully, he can come back at the end of the Big Ten season, but it's going to take some time
You can tell we have a lot to learn ... This is a great win, though. Minnesota will do well in the Big Ten, so this will be a valuable win come [NCAA] tournament time.
I'm kind of an old-timer -- I've always thought the Big Ten had a great advantage in the fact their kids go home for an extended Thanksgiving vacation ... To have a chance to be with your family over Thanksgiving, I've always felt was a real positive thing for our kids. The decision was made (in 2007) t...
I remember all those games ... And if we really want respect this year, we'll win our last Big Ten game against Penn State. If we do, people will start talking about us across the country again. From my perspective, No. 7 is very important.
We think this field is big-time ... It's going to help us get prepared for the Big Ten season. You try your best to match talent to the event, but when an event has a lot of tradition, you have to book far in advance.
We went cold and we stopped defending ... We went cold and didn't persevere through some missed layups and missed jumpers. Our execution during our first six possessions of the second half was good. I loved our execution; we just didn't finish. But when you're breaking in some many new faces, there are ...
There was no need for any inspiration (for the overtime performance) ... The Big Ten championship and a trip to the Rose Bowl provides plenty of motivation. We knew we needed a stop.
You come to Ohio State to win Big Ten championships and to get the opportunity to go to the national championship. But if that doesn't quite work out, the Rose Bowl is definitely up there
Do we take a step back from where we initially thought? I guess you'd say, 'Yeah, we do.' But, you know, you have to play the cards that you're dealt at some point in time and re-evaluate your situation and move forward ... If we were an 8-5 football team at the end of the bowl season, is it where we wa...
We don't look at things in groups like that ... We look at things today, and it will be highly difficult today (vs. Iowa), and the only way to be Big Ten champions is to be good today, which is irrelevant to the four before that, or the 30-some prior that have been won at Ohio State.
The toughest part is that the Big Ten has a minimum of five, and one publication has eight, teams in the top 30 in the country ... So that means we're going to play a large number of ranked teams, which I think is going to be good for the Big Ten and good for us in the long run.

I'm just proud that we competed in the Big Ten ... The games we lost, we lost every one except (Penn State) by only one goal. We had a number of ties and a good win against Illinois. For us, that is a big step.
We had a great start last year. We were very competitive down to the last couple of weeks; our finish was just not what it should be ... We could have easily been competing for a Big Ten championship with a basket here or a stop there.
So the big 10 still sucks in bball...nothin has changed
