I know how that place (VCU's Siegel Center) is when it's packed, and it will be packed. I know how it is when it's loud in there, and it will be loud. It will help prepare us for when we're at Gonzaga. It will help prepare us for when we're at KU and Oklahoma State, road games in the Big 12.
I have not done anything that's inappropriate ... I have been in this conference for nearly 20 years, and what I can tell you is that our coaching intensity does not largely differ from the other Big Eight and Big 12 teams that I have observed. We have handled this program in terms of intensity and hold...
Every year is going to be different. It's not normal to have a year like last year ... I think we had four or five guys we were talking about the Heisman every week, all in the Big 12. That's rare in any conference.
'Ninety-six and '97 were the first years of the Big 12, and I was still coaching ... That game was a very important game in the Big 12 North at that time, because they were a very good football team. The next year, in '98, they beat Nebraska, and I know they played in the championship two or three times...

Ashley was recruited extensively throughout the past two years by many PAC 10, ACC and Big 12 programs ... She will be a great addition to our program and will be a great force on the mound in the ACC.
This is an early season challenge going into a Big 12 arena against a program the caliber of Texas Tech ... They are good as it comes with running the motion offense.
I run this program with a lot of integrity ... I have been in this conference for nearly 20 years, and what I can tell you is that our coaching intensity is not largely different from the rest of the Big Eight and Big 12 teams I've observed.
What is lost in the improvement in numbers is that three jobs were lost in the Pac-10, Big 12 and SEC ... Adding positions at Miami University (Ohio), New Mexico, New Mexico State and Eastern Michigan was important but these schools will likely never get a shot at a BCS championship.
The best possible scenario would be for Florida State to beat Florida, Florida to beat Alabama, Nebraska to beat Texas in the Big 12 championship game ... Then what do we do? Is it Boise State-TCU? It’ll never happen.
If it was up to Muschamp, we couldn't even walk to meetings ... He would always run us to meetings if he could. That's his thing. He likes up-tempo defenses because a lot of the teams in the Big 12 have up-tempo offenses. A lot of speed out there. He wants guys on the field who not only can run but are ...
We're the luckiest group of 120 guys that exists in the Big 12 Conference ... To go out and get it handed to you like we did today and still have an opportunity to win a North Division title and go to a bowl game? Most people can't play that way and coach that way and have the good fortune to still have...
We were going to try to play both of them together tonight because their a big team and that's something we're going to have to do in the Big 12 ... But until we get Lewandowski going we can't afford to do that.
It certainly doesn’t hurt to have won a Big 12 road game ... The atmosphere and environment (at Kyle Field) shouldn’t affect us because we’ve played in some good venues. But we know A&M is always a big game whether it’s home or away, and we’ll have to play well to win.
Their goal again is to win the Big 12
Dezmon Briscoe was the best receiver in the Big 12 until I saw Alexander play today
I told our team that they are the luckiest bunch of guys in the Big 12, to go out and get it handed to you like we did today and still have the opportunity to win a North Division title and possibly play in a bowl game ... Most teams can’t play and coach the way we did today and still control their own ...

We really weren’t able to finish around the bucket a couple of times to stretch the lead ... We were certainly out-manned — they have guys signing with Big 12, SEC schools. Sooner or later, if you don’t convert your opportunities, it’s just a matter of time. Their wings were as big as our post players. ...
It all goes back to you thinking of all the guys who have played here before you ... All those Oklahoma greats, who played in the past with teams that have gone to national championships and won (three) consecutive Big 12 championships. You want to prove to the guys who have played here that we still ar...
I just saw them practice. And if that's the ninth- or 10th-best team in the Big 12, it's going to be a great year
That's a decision that never should have happened ... If you're going to split up the SWC and build up the Big 12, I don't think you take Baylor, Texas Tech and Iowa State, or even Kansas State at the time, over TCU.
Whats that you say? Nebraska is going to the big 12 championship? I knew in my heart we could do it!
