It reminds of Bobby Bowden saying, 'It's not always what a roach eats, but what they fall in and mess up.' ... You don't want to eat mashed potatoes after a roach has been in it. Other people messing things up is why we've made all those tackles.
It really hasn't sunk in yet ... This is a tremendous privilege and honor. I was recruited hard by all the Georgia schools and grew up in south Georgia, and they all told me I was going to an all-girls' school without much tradition at Florida State. We proved a lot of people wrong, and it was a fantastic experience playing for Coach Bobby Bowden.
Very young ... You didn't have television and everything, and you had to have ways to entertain each other.
He's probably the most valuable player out there right now ... So if you had to pick one of them you'd hate to lose the most, he'd be a pretty good place to start.
His ability to put in an offense and adjust as the season goes along is second to none ... He brings the experience and attitude that I was looking for in a coordinator.
