View Photo »Coach Warren Belin does a great job with the linebackers. They rarely have alignment mistakes, and that gives them a chance to be really successful ... It goes all the way back to Hunter Hillenmeyer in Warren Belin’s first year, who went from ordinary linebacker to the leading tackler in the conference....
We don't even talk about that role ... Our guys all know what the situation is, but we're trying to do it for Vanderbilt. We're not doing it for what we can do to Kentucky. We're trying to get better as a team and win for us.
Florida is a very good team and to have a chance to win the game, we'd have to do much better than we did tonight
Even when he's been on the scout team some for us - he sort of volunteered to do that - he did a fantastic job for us ... I know he was disappointed, but he never came whining to me. The best way I can say this is we got it handed to us tonight ... They came out and [were] more physical than we were, executed better than [us]…played better than we did. You have to give a lot of credit to Mississippi State. They came in, had a good plan, and executed it.

He is an All-SEC caliber safety, a guy that had a great year last year and started this year with a great game against Western Carolina. He actually played with his muscle torn off his bone. That tells you how tough he is ... His injury is going to be really tough to deal with.
