View Photo »We have a track record with BMW and Michelin to show that we can expect great things with Boeing and the tremendous impact they will have on our state ... The cost of the incentives is eliminated by the financial benefit. We think that most South Carolinians understand this.
We look forward to continuing to deliver Australia’s newest combat aircraft on budget and ahead of schedule, as promised ... Successful early delivery of these aircraft is a direct result of the great teamwork between Australia’s Defence Materiel Organisation, the Royal Australian Air Force, the U.S. Na...
Our results reflect improving performance as revenues and profitability increased and we recovered from the disrupted operations in the previous three quarters caused by the Machinists' strike at Boeing and the new ERP system implementation in the first half of 2009
I will continue to work with Boeing and our Congressional delegation as they focus on ways to bring this important project to Kansas
Boeing is going to suffer, because they don't have the trained work force in South Carolina.
Every time Boeing was mentioned in the media, Chicago was mentioned, too ... That clearly benefits the company and the location.
The Boeing Company’s leadership in aerospace, particularly in L.A. County, has helped to shape the economic makeup of our diverse region ... Boeing’s C-17 program has created thousands of good quality jobs for L.A. County residents and the LAEDC is proud to recognize and publicly celebrate their contrib...
The EU complaint against Boeing has yet to be heard so the most fair, open and transparent position that can be taken is to allow the WTO process to play itself out rather than rushing to a 'half-judgment,'
We see no point in continuing to grow rapidly in a declining yield environment, where our main aircraft partner is unwilling to play its part in our cost reduction programme by passing on some of the enormous savings which Boeing have enjoyed both from suppliers and more efficient manufacturing in recen...
We'd love to order more aircraft to continue this rate of growth, but if we don't get a deal with Boeing we'll break off these discussions ... If we can't spend our cash by buying cheap aircraft, we'll give it to shareholders ... I think they'd be delighted.
For Air India, three Boeing 777s being built will be delivered late next year. The remaining three that were ordered have been deferred. We have not heard of any cancellations. They will get 787s (Dreamliners) towards the second quarter of 2011, by which time we expect Air India to recover from the cris...
Boeing has decided to double-down on its failed 787 strategy and place an ill-advised, billion-dollar bet on a strategy that’s a proven loser
The citizens have put out big- time for Boeing management, and I'm disappointed that they are pulling the rug out from under them with this decision
Now, Boeing has decided to take their second 787 line to South Carolina. It's a shortsighted decision.
Even when they moved their headquarters to Chicago, Boeing's Washington work force remained dedicated to the quality product they make
That sent a clear signal that even as the union wanted to negotiate a deal they could live with, that Boeing was going to find a way not to be put in that position ... Senator Murray was stunned to hear McNerney change his tune after all their discussions and all of his commitments to her.
Look at Edward Jones. Pfizer. You have companies like (drugmaker) Sanofi Aventis that people are just unaware of but has one of its biggest facilities in St. Louis ... Boeing is huge.
If and when Boeing were to vacate the property, the city is ready to create a new future
It's not the Boeing Company we all knew, homegrown in Washington state
It's evolved and grown ... It could be the same with Boeing. What we see now is quite different from what they may make 20 years from now.
Clearly, Boeing is going to be looking at the 2012 SPEEA and IAM contracts as a benchmark for deciding where the successor airplanes will be built ... That will be crossing the Rubicon for labor and for Boeing.
Clearly, Boeing is going to be looking at the 2012 SPEEA and IAM contracts as a benchmark for deciding where the successor airplanes will be built ... That will be crossing the Rubicon for labor and for Boeing.
The company didn't buy that argument. Boeing has clearly illustrated what its preference is ... They believe they can manufacture in South Carolina and they can do it cost effectively.
No one should get the impression we aren't delighted Boeing is in South Carolina ... But they should come here for the right reasons, not because we pay them to do it. We contend that they'll do just fine on their own. Boeing is a successful company that doesn't need politicians to tell them how to run ...
