That line was very good with [Olli] Jokinen and Brandon Dubinsky
On the road, I guess more consciously you keep it simple, play with more structure ... I think most teams in the league are good at home, and you’ve got to play that way to steal points there. For us, we feel pretty good on the road, as far as our road game. We know it’s gonna be a grind, it’s gonna be ...
Yeah, especially the big guys ... If they get chances, they can bury it. (Marian) Gaborik and that top line (with Vinnie Prospal and Brandon Dubinsky). The boys really shut them down and forced them to play defense, which they don't like to do.
We're not going to back down ... We're going to continue to fight, scratch and claw each and every game to find a way to get into the playoffs.
If they want to play a physical game, we're going to play physical right back
Lefts and rights? I don't know what I'd call it
He came up and asked it I wanted to fight
I guess if it's a message, the message back is we're going to respond and we're going to be there step by step with them
I had some time, made the move I wanted to and thought I froze him enough
We needed to find a better way to hang on to pucks and get it out of the zone
Close just isn’t cutting it anymore ... We need to find a way to bury some of our chances; we need to find a way to play a 60-minute game and not let ourselves get to a point where we have a good period with some chances but don’t get the bounce we need or whatever. We can’t let it get to that point; we...
We've got to stick together in here and play for one another and find a way out of this, which we know we will
From now on we have to try and stay confident and believe in what we’ve got here
Some guys really stepped up to the plate ... That physical play, scrapping a couple of times - we let them know we were not going to back down.
The game in St. Louis, they really came at us from the start and kind of surprised us
That fight sure got my juices flowing, so I would think it did the same for everybody
You never what points you're going to need at the end ... This is a team that we're right there neck and neck with, and it's a big four-point game as far as the conference goes.
I'm not going to say we've been frustrated because I've said all along I think we're capable of scoring and playing well ... We just had to stick with it and hope that it was going to break out. ... Hopefully we can keep it going and keep putting the puck in the back of the net.
I think it’s an easy transition ... You just try to take your coverage in the defensive zone, play up and down your wall and play more of a straightforward, north-south game.
I thought we took care of the puck and both goalies played well ... We just needed to bury a couple of our chances and the game may have been different.
That’s it right there, that’s the No. 1 word
We're playing well right now, and the best part of our game is how we're playing defensively
That was a game-changer right there ... It always changes the dynamic of the game.
