Brandon had two interceptions, so that was good on his part, and Sean Jones got a ball that took points off the board ... Those were nice to see.

I know the mindset of guys like John Thornton and Dhani Jones. And they've got some young guys playing well like (Pat) Sims and Brandon Johnson that want to look good on tape. I knew just listening to (new defensive coordinator) Mike Zimmer cussing those guys out in training camp that the defense was going to be better.
These are two guys (Jones and Leon Washington) who try to make you miss ... It's a lot different than the backs they've faced this year like Jamal Lewis, Marion Barber, Brandon Jacobs, guys that have just put their shoulders down. Even the fullback Baltimore used (Le'Ron McClain). This will be a different look.
I didn't say that. It was a nice thought, though ... I think Patrick had a number of tackles. He and Chad Jones were the leading tacklers in the secondary. Brandon Taylor had a nice pick (interception), and I saw Phelon Jones make a couple of plays. I think the secondary is playing pretty well.
I definitely feel more productive ... I'm just going to have to play through the pain. It didn't pop out today during practice, which is good. But we weren't physical at practice. I'll just have to see on Sunday.
I'm just going in every week like it's an up week for me. I don't take any days off or anything like that ... Hopefully, when my number is called, I'll be ready.
We've set ourselves up in pretty good position right now, so there's no use in going out and letting it nag me all year ... We're just going to take it one week at a time. It just popped up week before last.
We watched the play, because I knew the exact play when it happened, and we don't know if I just tweaked it ... It started out, I had an injury that had a crack in it. It healed on its own. I didn't know it was broken, so it healed on its own and some of the calcium that built up on it, it just flared up on me. This is the first time it's ever happened.
When I had my ankle surgery, the doc asked me if I'd ever broken my ankle before, and come to find out, my ligament was half torn off on the outside and broken on the inside and had a crack going down on the inside too ... I never knew any of that was in there. He said I had broken my ankle at one point. I didn't know, because I don't ever remember missing any time.
I didn't really have any troubles (on game days) with the two weeks I didn't practice and then played ... I've always been one to study, even when I was a rookie. So film study is definitely more advanced than when I was younger. At this point in year nine, I've seen everything there is possible to see.
