I'm sure our players are very happy for Danny; he's very important to the franchise and it sends a terrific message to (Brandon) Rush, (Roy) Hibbert and (Josh) McRoberts ... When they see the condition he stays in all year, the way he works on his game, he never missed a practice and does it all on an even keel -- I know he's a model for some of these guys.
He gets to run and gun ... Any player, especially a rookie in the league, when the coach doesn't get mad at you for taking shots, that's heaven for you.
He needs a chance and he needs an opportunity ... I talked to him. I could not promise him when. I just told him to be ready. It could be any game. We brought him in here and we want to see him on the court.
