Last season, Nnamdi Asomugha recorded 40 tackles and three interceptions. Both numbers are higher than his average. The Philadelphia Eagles had a terrible time stopping the run in 2011. If the team can get better at linebacker, it will force offenses to
This might act as more of an explanation of 2010 than a predictor of 2012, but it works just the same. 2009 and 2010 are the only years in Vick's career when he has had to compete for a starting job. It gave him extra motivation to improve his skills as

I almost didn’t put Matt Ryan on this list. After all, he’s been fantastic ever since the Atlanta Falcons selected him with the third overall pick in the 2008 NFL draft, and he’s coming off a 29-touchdown season. But quarterbacks—fair or not—are judged o
In 2011, Eagles tight end Brent Celek revived his NFL career by catching 62 passes for 811 yards and five touchdowns, ranking him among the top ten fantasy tight ends this season. But apparently his career turnaround wasn’t enough for Los Angeles Lakers
The six linebackers on the Philadelphia Eagles had an average of 1.3 years of experience entering this past season. Akeem Jordan was the veteran of the bunch, and he’s a fifth-year player that should be a career backup. Middle linebacker was especially a
While he compiled a mere 23 carries last season, Lewis showed flashes of his potential in the final game of the 2011 season, rushing for 53 yards on 12 carries and a touchdown against the Washington Redskins. After carrying the ball 273 times in 2011, Le
"I told him the Eagles need a tight end," Bryant said. "I’m recruiting. He’s a freak athlete. He shouted at me and I shouted back. It’s fun to have those conversations with athletes you respect." There’s no doubt Gronkowski is a freak athlete, but if Kob

Notre Dame's Michael Floyd is the second-best receiver available in the draft behind Justin Blackmon of Oklahoma State. If the Eagles drafted him, it would no doubt be in the first round. Floyd had 100 receptions in his senior year at South Bend and at 6

View Photo »These last five games, they’ll show the true character of this team ... Whenever you’re facing adversity, whenever you’re facing a tough situation where you don’t know what the outcome is going to be, your true character comes out. Everybody can play when you’re up and when things are going well. But wh...
If you’re winning games, all that stuff goes by the wayside
I've never seen a coach make a catch, throw a ball, make a tackle ... It just comes down to us executing. I don't care what plays they call. It's us 11 versus their 11. We need to come together as a team and play. That's it.
You never want to hear that ... I guess the fans are frustrated. They don’t know what to do. They pay a lot of money to come watch these games. We’ve got a talented team. And we’re not playing very well. Us players are putting a bad product on the field. We’ve got to pick it up.
When you're losing games, people get heated, and there's times when you have words with each other but you get over it
It’s embarrassing ... We’ve got to win at home, plain and simple. When you look at the schedule at the beginning of the year, those are the games that – we’ve got to win at home and then steal a few on the road. It’s been the total opposite for us. That’s something that we’ve definitely got to get fixed...
It was horrible ... We know how good a coach he is. We love him as a coach. But we as players have to put the product on the field.

I heard it. Am I happy about it? No. It's all us. All us players, not executing on the field
That's horrible. You know what type of coach Coach Reid is
You never want to hear it, and I know he doesn't want to hear it.
I've been around a lot of coaches and I told my brother you don't want to play for anybody else
They love me and my brother so much
