It was. We had such a good core of older guys who had been there for so long, you rarely saw younger faces ... Now there are fewer old faces and a lot of new faces. There are a lot of good young players, a couple I work with when they were 6-7 years old like Ryan Suter and Jack Johnson.

Winning the championship in 1998 with (current Red Wing) Brian Rafalski on the same team, too -- nothing can beat that ... At that time, it was my first year and I was coming out of college. The arena I played in, it seated about 9,000 people and that was a huge crowd for me at the time.
