You watch Roger Federer. You watch Tiger Woods. You watch the New York Yankees win another World Series and it's celebrated ... For some reason when it happens in our sport, people want to know what's wrong. Nothing's wrong. They're that good.
Yeah. We adjusted the car. Actually, I was too loose. I almost spun out underneath Brian Vickers when Greg Biffle was behind me -- I should have wrecked. But, (I) held on to it. I guess since I should have wrecked there, I wasn't meant to win today. It kind of balances out, I guess.

But I don't know what it is about our sport ... You go watch Tiger Woods play golf or you watch the Yankees win another World Series and it's celebrated. Obviously, I can see where her motivation is ... IndyCars, that series has been struggling a lot, especially ever since the [1996 open-wheel] split. It's only getting worse right now. NASCAR is the predominant motorsports here in America. She's seeing that as an opportunity. I think she can bring a lot ...
I just want to get out of Kansas, to be honest with you ... It's been a long weekend for me. I thought we had a good car today and we started out a little tight. It got worse and worse, and [we] never could get a handle on it.
Obviously, the 48 team has crossed that line in the past ... Chad has more fines than anyone in NASCAR history, so that's where the rumors will come from. I'm not insinuating they did last weekend. If they pushed every rule to the limit, that is why they're running good. There's nothing wrong with that....
The team has done a great job this season with these Toyotas, especially at intermediate tracks like Kansas ... We have a pole position and our best finish of second at MIS, which is a very similar track. … I want badly to get a win for (crew chief) Trent (Owens) and the team.
As far as the level of commitment, I give 100 percent ... My personality is different than (Busch), like his is different than Jeff Gordon's. We all give 100 percent, maybe in a different way.
We really focused on race trim yesterday, and that was the first qualifying lap I made on the track ... Two poles (at Michigan) is very special, but what we really would like to be is in Victory Lane at the end of the race.
