Unless something negative happens this afternoon and I don't get the OK from Smitty (head athletic trainer Greg Smith) to play him, than I think he would be back
Every player wants to play, it's just whether he can or not ... I have to wait for [head athletic trainer Greg Smith] to give me the okay that he's ready and make sure he's ready. If he was to play in New Jersey and we don't play until Tuesday after that, if those three days are going to make it 100-per...
He's had a great week ... His energy, his tenacity, his pedigree. Then you watch him and you see how he's a pain to play ag...
They're automatic penalties ... When you go behind the net and put your stick on a guy, you're going to get a penalty. And Brendan Morrison has been in the League for 10 years and Semin for five years, and these guys know this. It's just dumb penalties.

I'm sure that is what Pittsburgh is saying and what Boston is saying ... The game is getting bigger, stronger and faster and all these games in October and November are being put together because of the Olympic year. There have been a lot of games played so the body takes some wear and tear.

Who knows where it will be Thursday (at Atlanta) ... But for one game, they were very good.

Washington Capitals coach Bruce Boudreau believes he has yet to see the best of two-time MVP Alex Ovechkin. He can get a lot better and I think he will ... Offensively, I don't know. But we need to see him do it both offensively and defensively. There's a lot of room for improvement in his game. And tha...
I just think he needed more time ... I told him yesterday, 'You're going to be a great NHL player.' Mike Green, Jeff Schultz, all of our young D have spent considerable time in the minors and the formula has worked. There's no need to rush him with the amount of solid NHL defensemen that we have here.
