Imagine, 56 years and four months to the day before CC Sabathia starts Game 1 of the World Series, Yogi Berra was actually in Philadelphia and may have passed by the Liberty Bell. I'm not saying the Series will come down to this, but it's definitely something to keep in mind.

This season isn’t the manager’s fault ... They traded away all his players. You can’t win when you trade two Cy Young winners in CC Sabathia and Cliff Lee. Dolan is getting what he paid for.
Coming up, I just wanted to go out, make it to the big leagues and be successful ... I never thought about winning a Cy Young or winning 20 games; I always just wanted to win the World Series.
I actually wished it was a little bit different — he's swung the bat so well off of Joba, but it just doesn't seem to make sense to do that ... We (face) a couple of lefties (CC Sabathia, Andy Pettitte) the next two days.
