Bart Scott and Calvin Pace seem to be trending downward in production as they enter the twilight of their defensive careers, but may have enough gas left in the proverbial tank to help resurrect a porous Bucs defense. Ranked 30th in total team defense...
He played well for Baltimore in 2011-12 (56 tackles, 2.5 sacks, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery). While Johnson is a not a pass-rusher, which is what every Jets fan wants to see next year, he would be a great fit alongside Calvin Pace—if the...

I just don’t think he’s the dominant pass-rusher we need. He seems more like a run stopping OLB. Bryan Thomas all over again. We do not need this guy. In time I think he’ll be a better pass rusher than BT. As the average Jets fan, you’re familiar with a...

But we got away with it. Sometimes you need a little luck.
We’ve got to man cover them, be a little bit better on the run and create some turnovers
For whatever reason, it didn’t seem like we had enough fire until it got into a dire situation
He saved our season, man ... He made a play. Somebody had to make one. Hell of a play.
For whatever reason we didn’t have enough fire until it got to the point where they were in a dire situation
We won so I can’t be mad about that, but defensively we were mediocre at best
We gotta man cover, be a little better in the run and create some turnovers
But like I said, I’m not mad. I just wish it could be a little easier than that.
I guess I just expect more from us
We just need to win and win the games we’re supposed to win ... All these times when you get caught losing to teams you’re not supposed to lose to, you end up kicking yourself in the (butt) at the end of it, saying, ’Man, we put ourselves behind the eight ball with the games we should win.’ If we go out...
If we win the rest of our games, we’ll be fine ... I think that’s the mind-set we have to have going in. Stop putting ourselves in a hole, hoping somebody kind of slips up.
That's the story of our seasons these past three years ... We've had to make these miraculous pushes at the end when it should've never come to that.
Sometimes when you get caught losing to teams you're not supposed to lose to, you end up kicking yourself in the (butt) saying, 'Man, we put ourselves behind the 8-ball. These are games we should win.'
