We were excited to come to the rink tonight and I thought for the most part we played a pretty solid game
It would have been nice (to score) ... Colesy made a great play. I tried getting it over to the far post as much as I could but, unfortunately, (Carolina goaltender Cam Ward) was able to get it between his legs.
They're a tough team to play against
Other than that first minute in the first period, I thought we took it to them and overall played a pretty sound game ... It's frustrating when wins aren't coming easy and you feel like you played a good game and didn't get rewarded for it.

The coaching staff has done everything that they can to prepare us as players to do what we need to do on the ice
